Sensor opens office in Amsterdam

Technical specialists provider Sensor opens its seventh location in the Netherlands. With the new office in Amsterdam Sensor is investing in greater proximity both to engineers and clients. The company wants to be more visible regionally and distinguish itself through personal service to both clients and technical specialists, its effectiveness, and its contribution to accelerating innovation.

Sensor’s success goes back 10 years. From – now – 7 offices in the Netherlands, including Rotterdam, Amsterdam, Zwolle and Drachten, Sensor serves over 300 customers, of which a significant number in the Amsterdam region. Setting foot in the capital was therefore a logical step and with the recent arrival of its new Director Emanuel Peters, the company is now embarking on a new and ambitious journey.

Emanuel Peters, Chief Executive Officer at Sensor: “In a market that is under pressure and where the days seem to fly by because of yet another distraction, it is now more important than ever to build lasting relationships. Personal attention, being approachable and being able to connect with people is key. With our new office in Amsterdam, we create the opportunity to invest in these local relations and grow sustainably.”

Sensor is part of The Specialist Group and connects technical engineers in civil engineering, mechanical engineering, industrial/offshore, construction and electrical engineering to a range of organisations focused on innovation and working towards a more sustainable future. Projects such as wind turbines in the Waddenzee, Zeelsuis IJmuiden, the Markermeerdijken, but also The Edge – the world’s most sustainable office building – and Valley at Amsterdam’s South Axis.

People first

The company mainly seconds promising, ambitious young professionals who want to contribute to a more sustainable world. Think of work planners, cost experts, project engineers, constructors, project leaders, executives and project managers. Starters in these fields often choose Sensor to quickly get started on the best projects within leading organisations.

Sensor is a personal mediator who looks at what suits the specialist and his or her ambitions. Basically like an agent does for an actor. The company is specialised in searching, finding and connecting technical talent, and consultants who know the (technical) business with its customers.
