The Specialist Group strengthens collaboration within the group and expands its technical expertise to meet growing demand.
Hoogeveen, April 29, 2025 – Emanuel Peters has been appointed Director of Litecad, part of The Specialist Group (TSG), effective May 1, 2025. Since June 2023, he has been director of Sensor, another TSG label that specializes in placing technical specialists in fields such as civil engineering, infrastructure, construction, electrical engineering, and mechanical engineering. He will also continue to fulfill this role in his new position.
The appointment of Emanuel Peters is part of TSG’s broader strategy to intensify cooperation between the various labels within the group. This is essential in order to continue meeting the growing demand for technical professionals, particularly in the field of energy transition. As director of Sensor, he is already closely involved with Litecad. His appointment formalizes the existing collaboration and strengthens the connection between the organizations, both of which are active in the Northern Netherlands, while maintaining their own culture, proposition, and independence. Besides the north of the Netherlands, Sensor is also active in Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Zwolle, Drachten, and Eindhoven.
Litecad focuses on deploying technical specialists for customers’ sustainability projects, including in the areas of hydrogen production, grid reinforcement, energy efficiency, and electrification. Litecad also has a strong profile in technical education. In collaboration with Utrecht University of Applied Sciences, Litecad provides post-graduate courses in Maintenance Technology and Project Management. Litecad also offers a unique practical education program for Pipeline Engineers. Litecad will continue to operate as an independent label within TSG.
Sil Hoeve, CEO of The Specialist Group: “The appointment of Emanuel Peters is a logical choice. He knows Litecad well thanks to the existing collaboration between Sensor and brings extensive experience as a director within the group. His appointment fits in with our ongoing search for ways to strengthen our services and respond even better to the growing demand for technical professionals. Currently, more than 3,000 professionals are employed through TSG in various sectors, and our goal is to double this number by 2030.”
“This appointment creates opportunities to further strengthen the existing connection,” said Emanuel Peters, Director of Litecad and Sensor. ”The focus will be on strengthening both propositions and achieve sustainable growth. In addition, I see opportunities to further develop and train new technical specialists with the help of Litecad’s educational opportunities. My ambition is to further strengthen this unique educational proposition and make it more widely applicable within The Specialist Group.”
